On an earlier report on iFilm English Website, it was announced that this year, Tehran’s Vali-e Asr Street, which is the longest in the West Asian region, was set to host a special 10-km-long ceremony on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadir.
This year’s event that is mainly celebrated by Shia Muslims annually in Iran to mark the day when the Prophet of Islam appointed Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS) as the first Shia Imam fell on Monday July 18.
People in the Iranian capital of Tehran congregated in Vali-e Asr Street to attend at the great festivity that was cast. They got engaged in several calligraphy, painting, photography exhibitions throughout the fest.
